Influence is quite possibly one of the most underrated concepts in today’s society. To understand the value of influence, simply look at different platforms such as Youtube and Instagram. By posting content that appeals to users, certain people have amassed incredibly large followings. This in itself is a marketing technique through marketing themselves to the general public. With this influence, all they need to do to sell or raise awareness about an issue is use their platform to promote said subject. Building your influence can start in way different ways. For myself, it entails social media and creating this blog. For you, it may also focus on online social platforms or real life interactions with customers, clients, friends, classmates, and the list goes on. The process definitely takes time and may become frustrating, but the results of influence-driven marketing are invaluable.
